BIOGRAPHY

Keiichi Yoshimatsu was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1982. He studied at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT), Japan, and received his Bachelor's degree from the Department of Biotechnology in 2004. He conducted undergraduate research in the laboratory of Prof. Koji Sode. He earned his Ph.D. degree in 2009 from the Department of Pure and Applied Biochemistry at Lund University, Sweden, under the supervision of Prof. Lei Ye.

After the post-doctoral training at National Institute of Materials Science (NIMS), Japan, and in the laboratory of Prof. Kenneth J. Shea in the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), he embarked his independent research career as an Assistant Professor at Missouri State University in 2015. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and at Missouri State University.
